WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANIMALS FROM THE PUBLIC
(Please see the article below if you need to re-home your pet)
Welcome to Four Paws to Love
Four Paws to Love is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue group. Our mission is to rescue homeless and at risk pets from overcrowded shelters, thereby reducing euthanasia. We value the bond between humans and animals and appreciate the important role that pets play in our everyday lives. Our goal is not only to help animals, but to help people whose lives are greatly enriched by adopting animals in need. Four Paws to Love is run by volunteers who generously give their time, homes, and hearts in order to save lives. Through our foster care program, animals have a safe, healthy place to stay until loving homes can be found. We ensure that all of our rescued animals are spayed or neutered and we provide education to the community about the importance of spay/neuter in order to reduce the homeless animal population.
We need your help!
While Four Paws to Love operates 365 days a year, we are NOT a shelter. We do not receive federal, state, or local funding. We rely strictly on donations to rescue animals and pay for their care, including food and medical expenses, such as spay/neuter and vaccines. Every dollar you give helps us to save lives! Please make a tax deductible donation today

We are a foster home based organization so we do not have a location where we house our animals, so we have partnered with General Feed & Seed who allows us to hold our adoption events at their store. We are at 1900 Commercial Way every Saturday from 1-4pm. Come by and see who we have that is looking for their forever home.
On the lovely campus of Cabrillo Community College the Aptos Farmers Market offers beautiful produce but also the opportunity to find a wonderful companion animal. We are there Saturday from 9am until noon in the Summer. Click below to find out our Summer dates this year.
What to do if you can no longer keep your pet
If you have adopted your animal from the Four Paws to Love adoption program in the past and can no longer care for this animal please do contact us. Otherwise, please surrender your animal to our local animal shelter where they will be cared for, given a medical exam and put into their adoption program. Follow the link in the article below for Santa Cruz County Animal Services. The Santa Cruz SPCA also assists the public with resources to help animals stay in their homes. There is also a link to the Santa Cruz SPCA in the article below.
If you would like to re-home your animal yourself, then follow the link on the left to Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet.com. This is a safe, reliable and FREE way to find a new home for your pet.
